Add an 'Undo ALL' and a 'De-select' option. Also the display should show a timeline in Min/secs, since that is what you need to know to Use the 'SELECT' tool. Also the speed of preview needs to be reduced.

allow a zoomed section of the waveform to scroll along while listening beyond the original zoomed section.

Finding the location of a click or skip is tedious. Viewing a zoomed section while listening allows easier location of the artifact.

Standardize by placing registration under 'Help' drop-down, rather than under 'Tools' drop-down.

Standardization is important in software, for usability. I am not sure, because I have not done any Microsoft Development, but if this is not a published software development standard, it is at least a de-facto standard for Microsoft Windows...
